WELCOME TO ADHD CLINIC . NET
  • This site will feature a directory of clinics that advertise specialties in assessing or treating adults or children with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.
  • You should check with your local physician and state Board of professional regulation to determine that the providers are licensed and provide quality services. Your local CHADD organization may also be a good source of information about a particular practice.

We generally recommend that you ensure that any testing be peformed only be a licensed psychologist, preferably one with child neuropsychology experience and that children also be assessed by their pediatrician for any underlying medical conditions. Psychological testing should include testing of cognitive skills, rule out learning disability, assess attention by standard age-normed tests as well as by rating scales, assess sensory and motor skills, and screen for other disorders such as depression, social skill problems, anxiety and conduct problems.
